The Dri-Flo II Model 25 FS Fluid RecorderGeneral InformationDri Flo II recorders provide an accurate continuous record of conditions for both gas measurement and process monitoring purposes.
The Dri - Flo II meter is used for the accurate measurement of flowing gas, including wellhead and pipeline gas, as well as liquid or steam. It operates by measuring the differential pressure of the gas of liquid across an orifice plate, flow nozzle or venturi flow tube. It can also be used to measure tank liquid level by measuring the hydrostatic head pressure created by the liquid.
The case and door are rugged die-cast aluminum covered with a textured polyester powder-coat finish for protection from industrial and environmental extremes. A continuous foam gasket insures dust and moisture proof protection of the chart, chart drive, and other components inside the case. The door has a full length aircraft type hinge for easy opening and long service. All Dri - Flo II recorders feature a chart plate that is easily removed by simply disengaging two snap buttons. A variety of chart drives, rotation speeds and pen types are available. An optional automatic chart changer is also available. |
Flow Recorders The recorder is available in any configuration of primary sensing elements including: Pressure, (as per below ranges up to 0-2500 psig for flow recorders), differential pressure to 400 "W.C., and temperatures to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. The differential pressure sensing units consists of two hermetically sealed, liquid filled bellows joined to a common wall or centerplate. The fill liquid communicated with both bellows through a dampening screw. This unit will withstand repeated overranges equal to the operating pressure without causing calibration change. Movement is transmitted through a sealed torque tube and stainless steel linkage to a recording pen in the instrument case. All process wetted parts are made of 316 Stainless steel, forged C1018 steel or inconel, or alloy K-500, thus ensuring extended periods of trouble free operation. Calibrations are simplified with knurled finger adjustments and locking screws to maintain accuracy.
